« Identity »
“A significant axis of exploration immediately appeared: the notion of « identity » that could characterize this cross-border identity that has evolved for 30 years. This project was developed by the “Centre d’Animation Globale” of Luxembourg with the active collaboration of the French theatre street company “La Tortue Magique” (Orléans), the city and the Cultural Centre of Aubange, the Province of Luxembourg and Alain Schmitz.”

During our setting up, the action-theatre company “Le Grand Asile” will present performances on the site. 

This is how we ended up producing 30 films on the matter and how we met Jean-Claude Feite.

Temporary installation of 70 maritime containers on the European pole of development in Aubange-Athus within the context of “Luxembourg 2007, European cultural capital”. 

Beyond its cultural aspects, this project – Europe’s most important –has considerable aesthetic and architectural dimensions.

During 3 months, international, national, regional contemporary artists will be brought to the fore, in various disciplines: architecture, design, visual arts, dance, theatre, music, cinema, …? This project also marks the 20 years of the cross-border urban area, the 10 years of the containers terminal and the 30 years of Athus’ steelworks closure. See pictures and films.
